There was no surprise when 14th ranked Livorno (8-20) was defeated at home by twelfth ranked Faenza (11-17) 68-50 on Sunday. Forward Riccardo Iattoni (198-92) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Daniele Casadei (199-81) chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds. Faenza's coach Marco Regazzi allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Center Nicolo Ravazzani (200-85) produced 6 points and 8 rebounds and guard Andrea Giampaoli (185-90) added 12 points respectively for lost side. Faenza moved-up to ninth place in B, which they share with Desio and Varese Coels. Loser Livorno keeps the fourteenth position with 20 games lost. Faenza will face Oleggio (#11) at home in the next round. Livorno will play against the league's second-placed Forli having rather not much hope for a victory.
