Semi-Finals Game 1: Haskovo 2012 - Neftochimic 93-72

Haskovo 2012 cruised past Neftochimic in the semifinal series opener. The game was mostly controlled by Haskovo 2012. Neftochimic managed to win fourth quarter 26-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Haskovo 2012 made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Neftochimic turnovers and outrebounded them 43-27 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Mali forward Meiya Tirera (186-86) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds. American guard Lia Galdeira (180, college: Washington St.) contributed with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Swingman Teodora Dineva (178-96) answered with 15 points and 6 rebounds and Ukrainian guard Olena Samburska (173-89) added 14 points in the effort for Neftochimic. Five Haskovo 2012 and four Neftochimic players scored in double figures. Neftochimic's coach Detcho Koeshinov gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win.
