There was a surprise result in Hod Hasharon where eleventh ranked Hasharon (10-16) smashed higher ranked Hapoel Kfar Saba (12-14) 98-76 on Tuesday. Hasharon looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. The best player for the winners was Tal Lapidot (-96) who scored 29 points and 9 rebounds. American guard Isaiah Sykes (198-91, college: Cent.Florida, agency: CGL Sports) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. American guard Vernon Teel (193-87, college: Loyola Mary) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Daniel Danino (185-96) added 13 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hasharon moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Hapoel Kazrin. Loser Hapoel Kfar Saba keeps the seventh position with 14 games lost.
