Montana 2003 held off Dunav 8806 to gain the opening victory in the semis. The game was mostly controlled by Montana 2003. Dunav 8806 was better in fourth quarter 27-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 20-of-22 charity shots (90.9 percent) during the game. American Monique Reid (185-90, college: Louisville, agency: Gamble Sports Management) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!) and 17 rebounds (made all of her thirteen free throws !!!) for the winners and international forward Daniela Peteva (179-89, agency: Josep and Nicolas) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists. Montana 2003's coach Stefan Mihaylov allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side Serbian guard Aleksandra Katic (172-87, college: Brown) responded with 19 points and the former international forward Tsvetomira Sharenkapova (184-91) scored 16 points.
