No shocking result in a game in Zgorzelec where ninth ranked PGE Turow (15-15) smashed 16th ranked Stabill (7-23) 108-85. The game without a history. PGE Turow led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 60.8 percent from the field. PGE Turow shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 58.3 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. The winners were led by American center Kirk Archibeque (205-84, college: Fort Lewis) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field) and Serbian guard Jovan Novak (187-94) supported him with 18 points and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). PGE Turow's coach Piotr Ignatowicz felt very confident that he used 10 players saving starting five for next games. Even 26 points and 6 rebounds by forward Kacper Mlynarski (202-92) did not help to save the game for Stabill. American center Zach Robbins (208-91, college: Dixie St.) added 17 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. PGE Turow maintains ninth position with 15-15 record. Stabill at the other side dropped to the fifteenth place with 23 games lost. PGE Turow's next round opponent will be league's leader Stelmet in Zielona Gora and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Stabill will play at home against MKS Dabrowa Gornicza (#10) and hope to win that game.
