We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when seventh ranked Fuerza Guinda Nogales (8-10) defeated on the road 6th ranked Trigueros de Ciudad Obregon (8-8) 94-79 on Wednesday. Fuerza Guinda Nogales outrebounded Trigueros de Ciudad Obregon 40-29 including 34 on the defensive glass. American players dominated the game. It was a great evening for swingman P.J. Reyes (196-86, college: Charleston Un.) who led his team to a victory scoring 30 points and 8 assists (made all of his seven free throws). Power forward Willie Readus (201-92, college: Delta St.) helped adding 20 points and 11 rebounds. At the losing side forward Landon Atterberry (198, college: LIU Brooklyn) responded with 21 points and 5 rebounds and guard Malcolm Canada (191, college: Auburn) scored 20 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Fuerza Guinda Nogales maintains seventh place with 8-10 record. Newly promoted Trigueros de Ciudad Obregon keeps the sixth position with eight games lost. Fuerza Guinda Nogales will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Trigueros de Ciudad Obregon will play against the league's second-placed Ostioneros de Guaymas (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
