Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Caceres Basket (14-16) was defeated on the road by third ranked Burgos (18-12) 73-57. Caceres Basket was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Burgos dominated on the defensive end, holding Caceres Basket to just 2 points in third quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Caceres Basket's 24. They outrebounded Caceres Basket 34-22 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for Austrian Anton Maresch (191-91, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory with 16 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Lithuanian guard Augustas Peciukevicius (192-91) contributed with 8 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners.
