An interesting game took place in Antibes, where higher ranked JSF Nanterre (17-12) lost to thirteenth ranked Olympique Antibes (13-16) in a road game 72-82 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 43-32 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Strangely JSF Nanterre outrebounded Olympique Antibes 43-31 including a 14-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American Tim Blue (205-84, college: Middle Tenn.St.) who scored 22 points. His fellow American import forward Paul Carter (205-87, college: Ill.-Chicago) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. International center Mouhammadou Jaiteh (208-94) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and American Mykal Riley (198-85, college: Alabama) added 15 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four JSF Nanterre players scored in double figures. Olympique Antibes moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Chalons-Reims and Orleans. Loser JSF Nanterre keeps the eighth position with 12 games lost. Olympique Antibes will face league's leader Monaco on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
