Quarter-Finals Round 4: Hamburg - Gotha 66-70

Gotha snatched a road win over Hamburg to force the decider in the quarterfinal series. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Joe Lawson (201-92, college: Indianapolis, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds. The other American import guard Carlton Guyton (193-90, college: Kent St.) contributed with 20 points and 5 assists for the winners. Lawson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Oettinger Rockets Gotha's coach Chris Ensminger used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Naturalized Ivorian guard Bazoumana Kone (190-93, college: Bremerhaven, agency: Octagon Europe) replied with 18 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Jonathon Williams (198-90, college: Wagner) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Hamburg.
