Everything went according to plan in Santander where fourth ranked Estela (16-6) outscored 14th ranked Venta de Banos (3-18) 86-57 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 86-57. Estela dominated on the defensive end, holding Venta de Banos to just 5 points in fourth quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Venta de Banos' 32. Estela forced 28 Venta de Banos turnovers and outrebounded them 47-23 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. They keep the fourteenth position with 18 games lost. Estela will face TAKE Tolosa (#9) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Venta de Banos will play against La Fecha (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
