Rather predictable result when sixth ranked Castellbisbal (10-8) defeated at home 9th ranked Arenys (6-11) 83-71 on Saturday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Castellbisbal made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Castellbisbal outrebounded Arenys 29-18. Guard Roger Guardia (193-85, college: CS Fullerton) scored 17 points to lead the charge for the winners and forward Sergi Sole (199-94) chipped in 9 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Dutch center Terrence Bieshaar (208-97) responded with 20 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and power forward Marc Bauza (204-96) scored 13 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Castellbisbal moved-up to fifth place in Group C Perman.
