There was a surprise result when sixteenth ranked Moncalieri (6-22) edged at home higher ranked Lecco (17-11) 76-74 on Saturday. Moncalieri made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game, while Lecco only scored seven points from the stripe. Lecco was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Swingman Christian Villani (200-82, agency: Octagon Europe) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 6 rebounds.
