Regular Season Round 28: Roanne - St Chamond 84-87

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fourteenth ranked Saint Chamond and 16th ranked Chorale de Roanne had identical 11-16 record. But Chorale de Roanne was not able to use a home court advantage and was edged by the opponent from Saint Chamond 87-84 on Saturday night. The guests trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 87-84. Four Chorale de Roanne players scored in double figures. Chorale de Roanne's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Newly promoted Saint Chamond maintains fourteenth position with 12-16 record. Loser Chorale de Roanne dropped to the fifteenth place with 17 games lost. Saint Chamond will face league's leader Hyeres-Toulon at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Chorale de Roanne will play against JL Bourg (#5) and hope to win that game.
