There was a minor upset in Sorgues where 10th ranked SAP Vaucluse (16-16) was edged by twelfth ranked Angers BC (16-16) 81-78 on Saturday. SAP Vaucluse was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. The best player for the winners was point guard Hugo Suhard (184-92) who scored 12 points and 7 assists. Swingman Thibaut Lonzieme (195-89, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. Five Angers BC players scored in double figures. American point guard Deremy Geiger (180-90, college: Idaho, agency: Blacktop Management) produced 27 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and Lithuanian forward Zygimantas Jonusas (200-82) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts.
