Limoges CSP Elite led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Limoges CSP Elite outrebounded Entente Orleans 45 41-27 including 16 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was international forward Nobel Boungou-Colo (202-88) who scored 7 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Leo Westermann (196-92, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 11 points. American point guard Kyle McAlarney (183-87, college: Notre Dame) produced 10 points and the other American import forward Marcellus Sommerville (200-82, college: Bradley, agency: DTMones) added 5 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains tenth place with 15-14 record. Loser Entente Orleans 45 keeps the eleventh position with 16 games lost. Limoges CSP Elite will face SPO Rouen (#17) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Entente Orleans 45 will play against Chalons-Reims (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
