Regular Season Round 28: Unicaja - Andorra 82-71

Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked Unicaja Malaga (15-13) beat at home 11th ranked Andorra (11-17) 82-71 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Unicaja Malaga. Andorra managed to win third quarter 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 23-of-25 free shots (92.0 percent) during the game. Unicaja Malaga outrebounded Andorra 32-19 including a 23-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. Serbian point guard Nemanja Nedovic (191-91, agency: Beo Basket) fired 14 points and 4 assists for the winners. Lithuanian forward Mindaugas Kuzminskas (205-89) chipped in 14 points. FYR Macedonian guard Vojdan Stojanovski (194-87, agency: Beo Basket) produced 12 points and 5 assists and Austrian point guard Thomas Schreiner (195-87, agency: Dynamics Global Management) added 12 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Four Unicaja Malaga and five Andorra players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Unicaja Malaga maintains sixth position with 15-13 record, which they share with Fuenlabrada. Andorra lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 17 games lost. They share the position with FIATC Joventut and Sevilla. Unicaja Malaga will meet La ICL Manresa (#14) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Andorra will play against Gran Canaria in Las Palmas and hope to secure a win.
