Hunters held Bruins to an opponent 20.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 40.3 percent accuracy of the winners. Hunters forced 23 Bruins turnovers and outrebounded them 61-33 including a 24-13 advantage in offensive rebounds. Shannon Novosel orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 8 rebounds. Susannah Walmsely contributed with 21 points and 6 steals for the winners. Kelly Wells answered with 11 points and 6 rebounds and Sabrina Zenatti added 11 points in the effort for Bruins. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hunters keep a position of League leader.
