Regular Season Round 26: JAC Sants - AEC Collblanc 70-72

Eighth-ranked JAC Sants (6-11) gave a tough game to second ranked AEC Collblanc (11-4) in Barcelona on Sunday. The visitors from L´Hospitalet managed to secure only two-point victory 72-70. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But JAC Sants won fourth quarter 17-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was forward Lluis Jacas (198-90) who scored 20 points and 9 rebounds. Power forward Roger Juan (200-82) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. AEC Collblanc's coach Jose Marsa used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Sergi Marco (194-91) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds and point guard Adria Vazquez (183-89) added 9 points and 7 assists respectively for the hosts. AEC Collblanc have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain second position in Group C Titulo with 11-4 record having just seven point less than leader San Fernando. JAC Sants lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth place with 11 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
