Regular Season Round 26: Salt - L'Hospitalet 71-60

There was an upset when top-ranked L'Hospitalet (16-1) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Salt (6-9) 71-60 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Salt. L'Hospitalet was better in second period 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Guard Guillem Pascua (186-89) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Genis Bover (201-91) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Salt players scored in double figures. Center Oriol Bayo (201-83) responded with 20 points and 8 rebounds and center Eduard Arques (202-94) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Salt moved-up to seventh place in Group C Titulo, which they share with Castelldefels. Loser L'Hospitalet still keeps top position with one game lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
