Regular Season Round 6: Knox R. - Eltham W. 84-78

There was a minor upset in Wantirna South where 4th ranked Eltham Wildcats (0-6) were defeated by top-ranked Knox Raiders (4-0) 84-78 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was American guard Mike Rose (193-87, college: E.Kentucky) who scored 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Abraham Nyok chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. Four Knox Raiders players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Benjamin Waldren who recorded 24 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Adam Moore (198-77, college: IPFW) added 26 points respectively. Eltham Wildcats' coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Knox Raiders moved-up to fourth place in League. Loser Eltham Wildcats still closes the standings with six games lost. Knox Raiders will face Magic (#9) in Hawthorn in the next round where they are favorite.
