An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Santiado Estero. Second ranked Penarol faced second-ranked Quimsa. Guests from Mar del Plata (30-22) defeated host Quimsa (29-22) 97-92. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Quimsa. Quimsa trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 31-24 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 92-97 at the end of the game.
