18th ranked Gipuzkoa (5-23) was outscored at home by second ranked Valencia Basket (24-4) with the biggest margin this round 121-79 on Sunday night. The game without a history. Valencia Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Valencia Basket maintains second position with 24-4 record behind leader FC Barcelona. Loser Gipuzkoa stay dead last with 23 lost games. Valencia Basket will meet at home CB Canarias (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Gipuzkoa will play against CAI Zaragoza (#15) and hope to secure a win.
