Guard Simone Tomasini (197-93) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points and 5 assists. Point guard Francesco Paolin (189-95) contributed with 12 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Valsesia's coach Lorenzo Pansa allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Emanuele Gerli (195-90) answered with 7 points and 17 rebounds and guard Riccardo Peroni (182-92) added 19 points in the effort for Trecate.
