Very predictable result when first ranked Udine APU (26-3) won against at home 12th ranked Volpino (10-19) 79-74 on Sunday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Udine APU made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. The former international power forward Joel Zacchetti (209-82) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points. Riccardo Truccolo (190-89) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Udine APU maintains first place in B with 26-3 record. Loser Volpino dropped to the eleventh position with 19 games lost. Udine APU will face Battaglia (#16) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Volpino will play against Moncalieri (#15) and hope to win that game.
