Ninth-ranked Boca Juniors (22-30) made lots of trouble for third ranked CASLA (30-23) in Almagra. CASLA managed to secure only two-point victory 78-76. However their fans expected much easier game. Boca Juniors was ahead by 1 point after three quarters before a 19-16 charge of CASLA, which allowed them to win the game. They made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. The winners were led by American forward Roquez Johnson (201-92, college: Mississippi St.) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 31 points and 17 rebounds and the former international forward Walter Herrmann (206-79) supported him with 17 points and 5 rebounds. Four CASLA players scored in double figures. Even 28 points by the former international swingman Adrian Boccia (195-82) did not help to save the game for Boca Juniors. The former international forward Fabian Ramirez (193-90) added 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the guests. Newly promoted CASLA maintains third position with 30-23 record behind leader Olimpico LB. Boca Juniors at the other side keeps the ninth place with 30 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
