Very expected game when 11th ranked Garra Canera de Navolato (5-14) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Lobos UAD Mazatlan (12-9) 92-83 on Tuesday. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Jeff Ledbetter (190-88, college: Idaho) fired 33 points (!!!) and 4 assists for the winners. Point guard Curtis Stinson (191-83, college: Iowa St.) chipped in 21 points. Lobos UAD Mazatlan's coach Eric Weissling allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Tyrone White (201-90, college: CSU Bakersfield) produced 20 points and 4 assists and guard Tamir Jackson (190-90, college: Rice) added 16 points respectively for lost side. Four Garra Canera de Navolato players scored in double figures. Lobos UAD Mazatlan moved-up to fourth place. Loser Garra Canera de Navolato stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. Lobos UAD Mazatlan will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Garra Canera de Navolato will play again against Lobos UAD Mazatlan (#4) and hope to secure a win.
