Regular Season Round 30: Chalon - Paris-Levallois 95-60

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Chalon/Saor (20-10) crushed at home 14th ranked Paris-Levallois (12-18) 95-60 on Tuesday. The game without a history. Chalon/Saor led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Paris-Levallois' players. Paris-Levallois was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American center Devin Booker (203-91, college: Clemson) who led his team to a victory with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. The other American import point guard John Roberson (180-88, college: Texas Tech) contributed with 20 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Chalon/Saor players scored in double figures. Naturalized Congolese Giovan Oniangue (198-91) replied with 23 points and American power forward Eric Dawson (206-84, college: Midwestern St., agency: Haylett Sports) added 10 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Paris-Levallois. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Chalon/Saor have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Le Mans. Loser Paris-Levallois keeps the fourteenth position with 18 games lost. Chalon/Saor will face Le Mans (#4) on the road in the next round. Paris-Levallois will play against JDA Dijon (#7) and hope to win that game.
