There was no surprise when 12th ranked Tokyo Cinq R. (5-47) was crushed at home by tenth ranked Yokohama BC (19-33) 114-91 on Friday. The game without a history. Yokohama BC led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game, while Tokyo Cinq R. only scored six points from the stripe. They outrebounded Tokyo Cinq R. 49-31 including a 34-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Yokohama BC looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was Panamanian-American forward Jordan Henriquez (214-89, college: Kansas St.) who had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 18 rebounds (on 12-of-13 shooting from the field). American forward Carl Hall (203-89, college: Wichita St.) chipped in 21 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Andre Murray (188-87, college: Portland St.) who recorded 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import swingman Malcolm Lemmons (193, college: CS San Marcos) added 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Five Tokyo Cinq R. players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Yokohama BC maintains tenth place with 19-33 record. Loser Tokyo Cinq R. keeps the twelfth position with 47 games lost.
