Regular Season Round 31: Antibes - Gravelines 59-78

Very expected game when 12th ranked Olympique Antibes (13-18) was crushed at home by sixth ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (20-11) 78-59 on Friday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 13-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 78-59. It was a great evening for American point guard Tyrone Brazelton (183-86, college: W.Kentucky, agency: Higher Vision Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points. The former international point guard Andrew Albicy (178-90) helped adding 10 points, 7 assists and 6 steals. Four Gravelines-Dunkerque players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Moustapha Fall (218-92) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and American Tim Blue (205-84, college: Middle Tenn.St.) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Olympique Antibes' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Gravelines-Dunkerque moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Chalon. Newly promoted Olympique Antibes dropped to the thirteenth position with 18 games lost. Gravelines-Dunkerque will face league's leader Monaco on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Olympique Antibes will play against Chalons-Reims (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
