Rather predictable result when tenth ranked Bisceglie (14-16) smashed on the road 14th ranked Vasto (8-22) 70-50 on Saturday. They outrebounded Vasto 29-17 including 19 on the defensive glass. Forward Gianmarco Leggio (203-94) scored 19 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Mauro Torresi Lelli (189-84) chipped in 15 points and 6 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Vincenzo Di Pierro (175-79) with 15 points and naturalized Serbian forward Marko Jovancic (195-93) scored 18 points. Vasto's coach Sergio Luise rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Bisceglie moved-up to eighth place in B, which they share with Padova.
