Regular Season Round 33: St Vallier - Chartres 90-77

Very expected game when 7th ranked UB Chartres (18-16) lost on the road to third ranked Saint Vallier (20-13) 90-77. The game was mostly controlled by Saint Vallier. UB Chartres was better in fourth quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Saint Vallier players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by UB Chartres helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Jonathan Hoyaux (196-88) who scored 23 points and 6 assists. American swingman Rasheed Wright (196-80, college: ODU) chipped in 19 points and 5 assists. Five Saint Vallier players scored in double figures. Saint Vallier's coach Jean-Sebastien Chardon allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Lithuanian forward Vaidotas Pridotkas (200-84) who recorded 22 points and 9 rebounds and Bahamas forward Bennet Davis (204-84, college: Northeastern, agency: Inception Sports) added 9 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Saint Vallier moved-up to second place, which they share with Rueil and GET Vosges. UB Chartres at the other side dropped to the ninth position with 16 games lost. Saint Vallier's next round opponent will be La Rochelle (#16) on the road which should be an easy win for them. UB Chartres will play against Caen (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
