Regular Season Round 27: TAKE Tolosa - Estela 70-64

There was an upset when 4th placed Estela (16-7) lost on the road to ninth ranked TAKE Tolosa (10-12) 70-64 on Saturday. Estela was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 20-13 charge of TAKE Tolosa, which allowed them to win the game. Strangely Estela outrebounded TAKE Tolosa 43-29 including a 34-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for guard Lander Lasa (193-88) who led his team to a victory with 15 points. Forward Goar Arteche (186-77) contributed with 13 points for the winners. TAKE Tolosa's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American guard Riley Stockton (192-92, college: Seattle Pacific) answered with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and the other American import forward Spenser Mitchell (203-92, college: St.Leo) added 12 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Estela. Four Estela players scored in double figures. TAKE Tolosa maintains ninth place in Group A-A with 10-12 record. Loser Estela keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
