Very expected game when 6th ranked Ortona (17-13) was defeated at home by first ranked Montegrano (25-5) 77-73 on Saturday. Montegrano made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Point guard Marco Rossi (183-81, agency: SPORTlab Agency) scored 26 points to lead the charge for the winners and forward Simone Gatti (202-82) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was point guard Fabrizio Gialloreto (185-87) with 25 points and 6 rebounds and naturalized Argentinian point guard Victorio Gustavo Musso (185-84) scored 16 points and 4 assists.
