Very expected game when 13th ranked Taranto (8-22) was defeated at home by third ranked Falconara (23-7) 77-65 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Falconara. Taranto was better in second period 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Naturalized Serbian power forward Marko Micevic (201-89) scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international point guard Fabio Ruini (185-80) chipped in 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was swingman Stefano Poti (192-91) with 13 points and 6 rebounds and Fabio Bastoni scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Five Falconara and four Taranto players scored in double figures. Taranto's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Falconara maintains third position in B with 23-7 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Roma E-basket.
