Sixteenth-ranked Sluc Nancy (9-22) gave a tough game to eleventh ranked Entente Orleans 45 (15-16) on Saturday. The visitors from Orleans managed to secure only seven-point victory 99-92. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests were tied at the half and again at the end of regular time. But they managed to win double-overtime period 9-9. Entente Orleans 45 looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a great evening for point guard Kyle McAlarney (183-87, college: Notre Dame) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 4 assists. Forward Marcellus Sommerville (200-82, college: Bradley, agency: DTMones) helped adding 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side power forward Randal Falker (201-85, college: S.Illinois) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and Zach Moss (200-81, college: Mountain St.) scored 25 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Entente Orleans 45 maintains eleventh place with 15-16 record. Sluc Nancy lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixteenth position with 22 games lost. Entente Orleans 45 will face higher ranked JDA Dijon (#7) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sluc Nancy will play against Limoges CSP Elite (#10) and hope to win that game.
