There was no surprise when 9th ranked CB Canarias (13-16) was defeated on the road by second ranked Valencia Basket (25-4) 93-75. The game was mostly controlled by Valencia Basket. CB Canarias was better in second period 20-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Valencia Basket made 19-of-25 charity shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Valencia Basket outrebounded CB Canarias 36-22 including a 25-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists.
