Regular Season Round 58: Shinshu BW - Saitama Bron. 101-60

Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked Shinshu BW (27-25) outplayed 11th ranked Saitama Broncos (5-47) in Nagano 101-60 on Sunday. The game without a history. Shinshu BW led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Saitama Broncos' 22. They outrebounded Saitama Broncos 57-28 including a 41-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Shinshu BW looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American players dominated also this game. Quite impressive performance for center Joe Wolfinger (216-85, college: Citadel, agency: Worldwide Career Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 19 rebounds. Power forward Xavier Gibson (210-88, college: Florida St., agency: Comsport) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Five Shinshu BW players scored in double figures. Swingman Seth Tarver (196-88, college: Oregon St.) replied with 15 points and 9 rebounds and power forward Evan Harris (206-86, college: Harvard, agency: I.D.S. Law) added 4 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Saitama Broncos. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Shinshu BW maintains seventh position with 27-25 record. Loser Saitama Broncos keep the eleventh place with 47 games lost.
