Regular Season Round 27: Castelldefels - Salt 55-53

A very interesting game took place in Castelldefels. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 8th ranked Salt (6-10) to seventh ranked Castelldefels (7-9) 55-53 on Sunday evening. Salt was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 16-12 third quarter run of Castelldefels. They outrebounded Salt 39-24 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was guard Marc Sese (188-93) who scored 12 points. Center Antonio Carrasco (200-92) chipped in 8 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Carles Nadal (190-89) who recorded 12 points and guard Guillem Pascua (186-89) added 7 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Castelldefels moved-up to sixth place in Group C Titulo. Salt at the other side dropped to the ninth position with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
