Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. AV Cantu's coach Sergey Bazarevich let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. VL Pesaro (12-17) moved-up to eleventh place. Loser AV Cantu dropped to the twelfth position with 18 games lost. VL Pesaro will face Auxilium TO (#15) in Torino in the next round. AV Cantu will play at home against Openjobmetis VA and hope to win that game.
