Very expected game when 13th ranked Betaland CdO (11-18) lost to third ranked Scandone AV (20-9) in Avellino 69-85 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-69. Scandone AV outrebounded Betaland CdO 48-30 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American-Liberian point guard Joe Ragland (182-89, college: Wichita St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists.
