Rather predictable result when twelfth ranked Polpharma (13-19) rolled over 14th ranked Slask (8-24) in Wroclaw 72-53 on Sunday. The game without a history. Polpharma led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Polpharma outrebounded Slask 40-26 including 32 on the defensive glass. Slask was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for Serbian power forward Uros Mirkovic (205-82, agency: BeoExcell) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. Lithuanian Martynas Paliukenas (191-93) contributed with 11 points for the winners. The former international power forward Mateusz Jarmakowicz (208-88) replied with 16 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Norbert Kulon (187-92) added 12 points (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) in the effort for Slask. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Polpharma have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with AZS Koszalin.
