Very expected game when 17th ranked MKS Start (4-28) was smashed by fourth ranked Anwil (24-8) in Wloclawek 93-67 on Sunday. The game without a history. Anwil led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to MKS Start's 34 and made 21-of-22 free shots (95.5 percent) during the game. They outrebounded MKS Start 34-23 including 24 on the defensive glass. MKS Start was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American-Haitian center Kervin Bristol (206-88, college: Fordham) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). The former international swingman Bartosz Diduszko (198-87) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Four Anwil players scored in double figures. Center Jaroslaw Trojan (207-93) replied with 16 points and 5 rebounds and Serbian power forward Nikola Jeftic (205-87, agency: PEPI SPORT) added 11 points in the effort for MKS Start. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Anwil moved-up to third place, which they share with Torun. MKS Start lost sixth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 28 lost games.
