Finals Game 2: Saarlouis - Wasserburg 58-68

Wasserburg knocked down Saarlouis to take 2-0 lead in the title series. The game was mostly controlled by TSV 1880 Wasserburg. TV Saarlouis Royals was better in third quarter 17-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. TSV 1880 Wasserburg made 23-of-30 charity shots (76.7 percent) during the game. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Canadian power forward Nayo Raincock-Ekunwe (188-91, college: Simon Fraser) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 5 rebounds. American point guard Sheylani Peddy (170-88, college: Temple, agency: LBM Management) contributed with 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American forward Amanda Dowe (193-91, college: Charlotte) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and Latvian forward Sabine Niedola (184-91) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for TV Saarlouis Royals. Four TV Saarlouis Royals players scored in double figures.
