There was an upset when higher ranked Lille Metropole (15-15) lost on the road to twelfth ranked Saint-Quentin (15-16) 78-70 on Tuesday. The hosts trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 8 points. It was a good game for American swingman Ryan Evans (203-90, college: Wisconsin) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Nigerian power forward Dinma Odiakosa (203-85, college: Illinois St., agency: Inception Sports) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Saint-Quentin players scored in double figures. Naturalized Burkinabe Jean-Victor Traore (204-85) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Kelsey Barlow (196-91, college: Ill.-Chicago, agency: Interperformances) added 14 points in the effort for Lille Metropole. Saint-Quentin moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Boulogne. Loser Lille Metropole dropped to the seventh position with 15 games lost. Saint-Quentin will face Saint Chamond (#15) at home in the next round.
