An interesting game for Hyeres-Toulon (23-7) which hosted in Toulon 4th ranked JL Bourg (18-12). First ranked Hyeres-Toulon had an easy win 83-42. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of JL Bourg. The game was mostly controlled by Hyeres-Toulon. JL Bourg was better in fourth quarter 13-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 22-of-23 charity shots (95.7 percent) during the game. Hyeres-Toulon forced 19 JL Bourg turnovers. American swingman Chris Dowe (193-91, college: Bellarmine) scored 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and center Jonathan Tornato (210-89) chipped in 9 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hyeres-Toulon maintains first position with 23-7 record. JL Bourg at the other side dropped to the third place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Le Portel. Hyeres-Toulon will play against Le Portel (#4) on the road in the next round. JL Bourg will play against Poitiers and hopes to get back on the winning track.
