Very expected game when 5th ranked Frankston Blues (3-4) lost on the road to first ranked Tornadoes (6-1) 75-64 on Saturday. It was a very good performance for guard Alex Wilson (174-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. Power forward Tayla Roberts (191-93) contributed with 25 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American forward Kayla Standish (187-89, college: Gonzaga) answered with 25 points and 8 rebounds and forward Kelly Bowen (182-89, college: Gonzaga) added 20 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Frankston Blues. Tornadoes maintains first place in League with 6-1 record. Loser Frankston Blues keep the fifth position with four games lost. Tornadoes will face league's second-placed Rangers in Dandenong in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Frankston Blues will play at home against Lady Cobras and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
