Very predictable result when fifth ranked Sharks (3-2) won against bottom-ranked Bruins (0-4) in Sutherland 60-44 on Saturday. Sharks outrebounded Bruins 54-43 including 19 on the offensive glass. It was a very good performance for Taylor Mathers who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 17 rebounds. Lisa Watkins contributed with 17 points for the winners. Kelly Wells answered with 6 points and 9 rebounds and Jasmine Barlow added 10 points in the effort for Bruins. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sharks moved-up to fourth place in League. Loser Bruins still closes the standings with four games lost. Sharks will face Hawks (#5) in the next round.
