Regular Season Round 28: Myrtia - Valencia II 81-66

Rather expected game when 4th ranked Valencia-2 (15-11) lost to second ranked Myrtia (18-7) in Murcia 66-81 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 81-66. Myrtia forced 20 Valencia-2 turnovers. Quite impressive performance for forward Jorge Lledo (203-80) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds. Power forward Jose Fernandez (200-78) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Guard Adria Duch (185-95) replied with 19 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Luis Panos (192-93) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Valencia-2. Valencia-2's coach rotated eleven players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Myrtia have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Myrtia maintains second position in Group E Clas with 18-7 record having just twenty four point less than leader San Fernando. Loser Valencia-2 keeps the fourth place with 11 games lost. Myrtia will have a break next round. Valencia-2's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Valencia to the arena Almassera.
