There was an upset when higher ranked Tenerife Naut. (15-10) lost to eleventh ranked Estudiantes B (9-16) in Madrid 48-58 on Saturday. It was a very good performance for forward Alberto Maura (198-98) who helped to win the game recording 8 points and 14 rebounds. Naturalized British David Sainsbury (203-94) contributed with 8 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Guard Roberto de la Rosa (193-85) replied with 13 points and power forward Samuel Rodriguez (200-97) added 8 points in the effort for Tenerife Naut.Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Estudiantes B maintains eleventh position in Group B with 9-16 record. Tenerife Naut. lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with ten games lost.
