Regular Season Round 28: Sant Lluis - Pardinyes-L. 52-77

There was no surprise when bottom-ranked Sant Lluis (0-19) was outleveled at home by fifth ranked Pardinyes-L. (11-8) 77-52 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Pardinyes-L.. Sant Lluis was better in fourth quarter 11-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Pardinyes-L. forced 21 Sant Lluis turnovers and outrebounded them 42-29 including 31 on the defensive glass. Quite impressive performance for guard Edgar Solsona (190-90) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 4 steals (made all of his seven free throws). Guard Marc Rubin De Celis (188-95) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Forward Miguel Ortiz (192-81) replied with 11 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Miralles Ibon (192-97) added 12 points in the effort for Sant Lluis. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Pardinyes-L. moved-up to third place in Group C Perman, which they share with Barbera. Newly promoted Sant Lluis still closes the standings with 19 games lost. Pardinyes-L. will face Sant Nicolau (#7) in Sabadell in the next round. Sant Lluis will play on the road against Castellbisbal and hopes to get finally their first victory.
